Gold Eagles 2008 & 09

Since it was reported that the mintage would be lower than normal. Will they be worth more?

There are not that many people who collect GAE's by the year. The fact that the Mint is just not producing enough Eagles will add some premium, but the fact of the matter is they are just bullion and will never trade a lot higher than spot. I will be surprised if they ever trade for over a $100 more than any other recognized bullion coin. JMHO of course.

Just remember the pre 33 Saints and Liberty coins were once bullion 100 years ago...If they had been slabbed think of what their MS numbers would look like:cry1::111: I see no reason for slabbing modern bullion at this point...don't plan on living the extra 100 years:4_1_72:
